My Photoshoot

Inspired by M&S campaigns I wanted to create a photoshoot/ campaign that is more natural and homely to other for example magazine shoots, I have decided that I don't want to photoshop the images and wanted to show my models real age. My mum modelled for me she is 52 years old and is a mother of 4. Mum used to model in London when she was 17.
here are my best few images. I feel these are inspirational and warming images to women at an older generation. I hope you like them.

Look Fabulous over 40

I have recently discovered this great website http://www.fabulousafter40.com.
There was an article from this week that caught my eye. Can you wear Orange after 40?
'No color is off limits after 40. It’s simply a matter of whether it suits your skin tone.'
The ladies above look fab wearing orange who says colour matters above the age of 40?

Teri Hatcher - No Botox

Here is a photo of Teri in 2009 at an Awards ceremony wearing alot of makeup.




45 year old Desperate Houswive's star Teri Hatcher recently photographed her self after a shower wearing no makeup. She is also frowning in these photographs which show her frown lines. She decided to photograph herself to prove to her fans and the public that she doesn't look good all the time, and just like us needs makeup to look good.
She mentioned her flaws:

"First and foremost are the dark circles but I've had those my entire life, I think they are genetic. So that is me without make-up - eye-brows, wrinkles and dark circles."
I truely admire Teri Hatcher for doing this. Its such a brave thing to do.

All Walks Campaign - Ageless Beauty

All Walks Beyond the Catwalk is an Organisation that was set up by former Editor of I-D magazine Caryn Franklin, Fashion Consultant Debra Bourne, Model and founder of the Model Sanctuary Erin O'Connor.

There Mission is to make people aware of the main issues of Age, Racism and Natural Beauty and to give people body confidence. It doesn't matter if your a size 8 or a size 18.

The M&S Ad Campaigns have a variety of Models up to the age of 60.Model Lesley Hornby more famously known as Twiggy,best known for her modeling in the 1960's. She is such an inspiration to the older generation, showing us that you can still look hot to trot at 60 years old.

I will Keep you updated on a regular basis regarding these issues.
